Comic Con – Day 3

Comic Con – Day 3

Thank God Comic Con is just once a year cuz if not, I wouldn’t get anything done. So! Let’s see what happened on Saturday!!!

Warner Bros took Hall H and this is what happened

BATMAN VS SUPERMAN

Exciting? Nah… Not so much. Zack Snyder was there presenting the movie. He was loud and talked fast as usual. What was amazing, were the screen they used to present the concept art and the footage.  Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot were there, but just for a quick selfie.

They did present the First Look photo for Wonder Woman. It’s kinda cool and it goes wonderful with the whole look they are trying to give to Superman and Batman, but I miss the colors.

And, thankfully, someone managed to tape the teaser. It is in crappy bootleg quality, but you get the idea.

THE HOBBIT: THE BATTLE OF THE 5 ARMIES PANEL

You guys! All the geek feels! I just can’t event!!! Can we tak a minute to talk about Stephen Colbert as moderator? Was that awesome or what? For me, as a Tolkien geek, his intro was just… perfect. I was laughing and crying at the same time. And during the panel you could tell he was having the time of his life.

Let’s do a (somewhat) quick summary of my favorite parts:

1/ Stephen Colbert playing with his wig and saying that that must be how Orlando Bloom feels all the time.

2/ Luke Evans took a pic of the audience. Aaaawwww!

3/ Elijah, why don’t you age? I mean… I wanna ask him the exact same thing

4/ Cate Blanchett goes “I thought my time in Middle Earth was over” and Orlando Bloom adds “yeah, you and me both”! I’m so grateful they brought Leggy back!!!

5/ George RR Martin’s method must be contagious, cuz Peter Jackson thinks it’s fun to kill main characters. He is evil. I will cry like a baby when this movie comes out.

6/ “Say Tom Bombadil for God’s sake”!!! I remember the chaos that him not being in the movie caused. It was huge!!!

7/ “How would you characterize the differences between Smaug and Sauron”? “Well… one’s a dragon”. If this is going to be like this the whole time I’m going to die!

8/ Luke shooting and arrow and using a bow. That has to be one of the sexiest images ever! And he was so proud of beating the dwarves! Aaaawwww!!! By the way, is it just me or does Luke always seem shy in this sort of events?

9/ Galadriel looses her Elvish shit. Oh boy I gotta see that!

10/ Are there videos for the Trivia Contest between Stephen and Phillipa?

11/ Can I do one girly comment? This panel is killing me. The voices of Benedict Cumberbatch, Luke Evans, Lee Pace and Graham McTavish are doing things to me.

12/ Elijah has never read the Lord of the Rings books? Are you kidding me? can we expel him from Middle Earth???

13/ Lord of the Rings museum? Yes, please!

14/ The wolf has a penis and it’s sharp. Is this happening?

15/ The bow-off between Legolas and Bard would be awesome!!! Ok, just this whole answer was awesome!!!

MARVEL PANEL

I’ve been in love with Paul Rudd since Clueless…

Robert Downt Jr throwing roses at the audience was a nice touch. Loki was better, though. Wayyyyyyyyy better!

Can this panel get any hotter? Like all this guys are incredible hunks. Who did the casting for this? Cuz that person is a genius!

WARNER BROS TV PANEL

Stephen Amell was pretty good as the Master of Ceremony. And it IS quite impressive to see all those people on the panel.

So… I’m not that interested in Gotham and Flash, but I’m really intrigued by Constantine. Not only because of Matt Ryan, but the show does seem interesting.

Oh! And Stephen Amell showing his abs was the best ending to a panel E-V-E-R!

Ally
Written by Ally

80’s kid, 90’s teen. That sums it up quite nicely. Fan of almost everything. There’s not enough room in cyber-space to list everything (or every guy / fictional character I have the hots for), but I’ll try: Outlander book series ultimate fan (‘cuz JAMMF is just perfection), YA and romance novel avid reader, BSB fan to the death. Current TV Shows addiction: Outlander, Game of Thrones, Arrow (I ship Olicity. Hard.), The Big Bang Theory, Marvel Agents of SHIELD. Past addictions: Friends, Glee, Spartacus, Smash, The Tudors, Battlestar Galactica, Lost (I’m an ending-hater). The Hot List: Luke Evans, Gerard Butler, Theo James, Nick Carter, Henry Cavill, Chris Hemsworth, Stephen Amell, Hugh Jackman and I could keep going to infinity. Oh! And I believe in the God of Google!
