Friday Night Hottie – The Brit Edition – Tom Hiddleston

Friday Night Hottie – The Brit Edition – Tom Hiddleston

By popular demand, tonight we will be celebrating Tom Hiddleston’s British-ness. Ok, maybe not “popular” demand. But  and  kinda begged me to do him. So, here it is.

Thomas William Hiddleston was born in Westminster back in 1981. You can’t get more English than that. Between the name and the birthplace… He was raised in Wimbledon, and later in Oxford. He attended the Dragon School preparatory school in Oxford, and by the time he was 13, he boarded at Eton College. He then continued on to Pembroke College at the University of Cambridge, where he earned a double first in Classics (wow!). As if that wasn’t enough, he proceeded to study acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. All very English if you ask me. Were did I leave my St. George’s Cross flag when I need it?

He was House Captain at Eton

With that devilish grin, I don’t know how they let him be Captain.

He played rygby

He’s met the Queen

And Prince William / the Duke of Cambridge

Apparently, Prince William recognized him from their days at Eton.

He is a true English gentleman. There are several examples to prove this statement:

1/ He gives ladies his jacket (and makes said lady go to ultrasonic levels of sound when swooning all over him. wouldn’t we all?)

2/ He’s even a gentlemen towards men

3/ And with children (get ready for your ovaries to explode)

4/ And who, but a true gentleman, would say things like this?

I mean… there are even jokes about his English-ness and his gentleman-like manners on the Internet…

He is so English, that even Jaguar chose him to represent the epitome of Brit villains

And… as if he couldn’t get more English even if he tried, he does Shakespeare like all the time! Theater, TV, audiobooks, movies and might even quote the Bard in the middle of an interview just to slowly murder us

So… I don’t know if this next thing is very English or not (probably not) but I just wanted to point it out. He not only has the best ever English accent, but he speaks Spanish:

He speaks French (starts at 00:43)

And plenty other more!

Adorable, right? And he also sings!!!

And to finish off this post, something that’s amazing in either English or any other language. His laugh.

I want to thank my very good friend and Evil Boss , for not only turning me into a Cumberbitch but also (and firstly) into a Hiddlestoner. Girl, you are like my Fandom Godmother!

80’s kid, 90’s teen. That sums it up quite nicely. Fan of almost everything. There’s not enough room in cyber-space to list everything (or every guy / fictional character I have the hots for), but I’ll try: Outlander book series ultimate fan (‘cuz JAMMF is just perfection), YA and romance novel avid reader, BSB fan to the death. Current TV Shows addiction: Outlander, Game of Thrones, Arrow (I ship Olicity. Hard.), The Big Bang Theory, Marvel Agents of SHIELD. Past addictions: Friends, Glee, Spartacus, Smash, The Tudors, Battlestar Galactica, Lost (I’m an ending-hater). The Hot List: Luke Evans, Gerard Butler, Theo James, Nick Carter, Henry Cavill, Chris Hemsworth, Stephen Amell, Hugh Jackman and I could keep going to infinity. Oh! And I believe in the God of Google!
