As today is the opening for THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG, and also… it’s the day we get to see Legolas on the big screen again, today’s Friday Night Hottie goes to a guy we love from way back: Orlando Bloom.
More than 10 years ago, we first saw Legolas arrive at the Council of Elrond and it was love at first sight.
We loved the Prince of Mirkwood since the very beginning. He was a bad-ass with the bow and arrow, he developed a great relationship with Gimli, was loyal to Aragorn, walked on snow, was amazing with DIY braid hair tutorials and had the best one liners ever! Like “A red sun rises. Blood has been spilt tonight”, or… “a diversion”, or…
Priceless!
As soon as I got home from the movie theater, I Googled Legolas and found Orlando. Love at second sight. He looks good both ways: as a blond and as a brunette!
So, after searching for all prior material (not much there), came Black Hawk Down. I was so excited. I went to the cinema and everything. And the he falls from the helicopter and doesn’t appear any more. Booo….
After The Two Towers, things got better. We saw him alongside Heath Ledger in “Ned Kelly” and then we met Will Turner and that was it. Love 4 ever!
After that, I watch anything he was on. As in anything. Even “The Calcium Kid” and “Haven”. Gwen and I loved “Elizabethtown” so much, we both had the ringtone he used on the movie as our very own ringtone.
Not only in movies does he look hot, but also in Ads (love his smile, btw…)
