People over at Starz should take better care of us. We are, ultimately, the one who will watch the series once it premieres. So… if they go killing us now, when they are just filming episode 3, they won’t get much of an audience next year.
Ok, I’ll admit it. They are doing an amazing job promoting the series, and we all already love Caitriona Balfe and lust after Sam Heughan even though we have since almost nothing of them as Jamie and Claire. So… bravo! But, honestly. Please take better care of us. We have delicate hearts, which have been waiting to see Outlander come to life for almost 10 years (in my case). You should be gentle.
Today was an example of how the Outlander promo team and Sam Heughan might manage to kill us all, before the show premieres. I was minding my own business, having a pretty normal Sunday when suddenly…
And there went my calm and relaxation out the window. Can you see them fly away? Sam, in a kilt in live television? And they gave us just a few hours notice? That’s just plain mean!
So, obviously I became glued to my phone. Twitter erupted in a global fest where everyone was anxiously awaiting THE moment. Link for the live feed started flooding my Twitter feed and I was counting down the minutes to the live show.
But, thankfully, someone took pity on us and even before the show started, we had these precious little gems:

I believe Sam Heughan and the good people at Starz are on a quest to break down Internet. But this just lifted my spirits and now I don’t quite care that tomorrow is Monday again.
