Sam Heughan as Jamie Fraser will be the death of us all

We were having a pretty calm and relaxed Friday yesterday, when BAM!!! this happened:

Yeah… we also needed a minute to catch our breaths after seeing this. We bet most of our brain cells just died on the spot when we saw this photo. Yours did too? Oh, well… Who needs brain cells?

This is Jamie Fraser in all his shirtless glory. So, of course, we 3 Fandom Obsessed gals just had to text about it.

ALLY: have you guys seen this? Am I the only one having mini-seizures?

GWEN: I Hadn’t! Is that at Castle Leoch? Or the cabin?

ALLY: Castle Leoch, I think… but… WHO CARES WHERE IT ISSSS?!?! HAVE YOU SEEN ALL THAT JAMIE???

GWEN: Yeah. But it’s Sam. I don’t know. I can’t get on board with this Jamie yet. Maybe after I watch the first episode I’ll swoon. I hope.

ALLY: Ok, get out of here please.

GWEN: Okay. Sawryyyyyy

ALLY: I’ll die after the first episode. I mean… I’m useless after this photo. Hey, no. No. Stay. I need someone to hold my hand while I flail.

GWEN: I’ll hold your hand. But I do think we might need to watch it together, like physically in the same place.

ALLY: Oh, heck yes! We sooooooooo need to watch this together. I’ll die if not. And we’ll need a paramedic on stand by, just in case. Can we break this photo down? Like… I need to talk about it.

GWEN: Ok, let’s discuss it. Did Wendy die or something? Where is she?

ALLY: she might have spontaneously combusted… Ok. So. I hadn’t realized Sam Heughan had THAT hot bod underneath all his clothes…

GWEN: I like that he’s not “ripped”. He looks like a normal guy who does a lot of hard work

ALLY: He doesn’t look like any “normal” guy I know… But I get your point. Couldn’t agree more. He looks big and strong , but not cut as if he spends 20 hours a day in the gym and has tons of Photoshop on him

GWEN: That’s a good sign…

ALLY: Yeap. Now… is it just me or those veins popping out on his arms are just awesome?

GWEN: They are AWESOME! Veins are always amazing

ALLY: hahaha! Now… onto the actual scene… I believe this is in Castle Leoch once they’ve arrived and Claire is checking his shoulder again and she sees his scars for the very first time

GWEN: yeah, I think so too. They are alone, for once…

ALLY: Yup. And the window kinda gives me the impression of it being from a castle, not a cottage. And she is still wearing the white dress she wears when going through the stones

WENDY: I’m here! I’m here! I’m still alive! Don’t leave me alone!!! Mini-seizures? Hahaha! You are crazy! Where’s that picture from?

GWEN: Outlander’s social media. I don’t know why, but I always thought her dress, when she goes through the stones, was flowery and colorful. I have no idea why…

ALLY: cuz that what the book said. I think it had something like yellow flowers. Yes Wendy, mini-seizures. This photo was too much for my poor fangirling heart to take in

GWEN: Ooooooohhhh! So it wasn’t white! It was her shift, then?

ALLY: I think in the book, she was wearing a print dress with yellow flowers and brown shoes. I remember the clansmen saying that she couldn’t be a prostitute because she had such good shoes

GWEN: yeah, exactly. I remember that. Because they thought at first she might be one because of her “state of undress” , but then they saw her shoes and went “nope, can’t be one”

ALLY: hahaha! I love how her best defense are her shoes
