Thor: Marvel’s secret weapon to female anihilation

Even at the risk of being considered a typical fangirl, I’m gonna say that the most important and memorable moment in all of the “Avengers: Age of Ultron” trailer was not the Hulkbuster suit, nor the appearance of Ultron or Pietro and Wanda. Nor was it the fact that Captain America’s shield is broken in two. No. The most important moment was this:

Yes. A double GIF set. Because you just have to see that at least 2 times. Your welcome.

Now, I know fanboys will be screaming at me that girls only watch these movies for the eye-candy, and they are right. Of course they are. It’s not that we don’t read comic books, or that we don’t know the storylines. We do. But come on! I’m only human after all, and the casting directors go out of their ways to make us hyperventilate and pant in the movie theater.

And, you fanboys can’t really criticize us. Have you seen the costumes on almost all the female superheroes? I rest my case.

So, going back to the important stuff…

Thor02

I haven’t seen the movie, read the script or know the plot in depth, so maybe this scene is pivotal to the storyline. But I’m pretty sure the director could have found a way to do this scene with a fully clothed Thor. He chose not to. So, actually, it’s not really our fault. It’s the director’s fault. We just know how to appreciate good art when someone shows it to us.

80’s kid, 90’s teen. That sums it up quite nicely. Fan of almost everything. There’s not enough room in cyber-space to list everything (or every guy / fictional character I have the hots for), but I’ll try: Outlander book series ultimate fan (‘cuz JAMMF is just perfection), YA and romance novel avid reader, BSB fan to the death. Current TV Shows addiction: Outlander, Game of Thrones, Arrow (I ship Olicity. Hard.), The Big Bang Theory, Marvel Agents of SHIELD. Past addictions: Friends, Glee, Spartacus, Smash, The Tudors, Battlestar Galactica, Lost (I’m an ending-hater). The Hot List: Luke Evans, Gerard Butler, Theo James, Nick Carter, Henry Cavill, Chris Hemsworth, Stephen Amell, Hugh Jackman and I could keep going to infinity. Oh! And I believe in the God of Google!
