Yup. That’s about it. If you are a Sherlock fan, that just made your day. Heck! It just made your whole week!

Yesterday, BBCOne, at exactly 2:21pm (smart kids) announced that Sherlock will be back once more. And all the Sherlock fandom breathed a sigh of relief. Tell me you felt it? It was like an explosion on Twitter. And don’t let me get started on Tumblr. It was a party down there.

The Press Release goes something like this:

“Sherlock” will return for a fourth season in 2015-16, the BBC announced Wednesday. The new season will consist of a special episode, which will begin filming in January 2015, and three episodes, which will commence production later in the year and will likely appear in early 2016.

So, if I’m doing the Maths correctly, we still have to wait another 18 months to see something, right? WTF am I going to do in these 18 months? Ok, the Outlander series might keep me occupied for a while… True, we all expected the new series to air on 2016, but having it confirmed is both a joy (because there’s actually going to be more from Sherlock and John) and a sadness (because it kills the hope that it might have been sooner).

Steven Moffat said they are going to do “a special, plus a new series of three episodes — it’s a record-breaking run! Of course, it’s far too early to say what’s coming, but we’re reasonably confident that the very next thing to happen to Sherlock and John is the very last thing you’d expect…”

Oh, Good God! They are going to make us suffer again! Or, if it’s the very last thing we’d expect, they might just end up been best buds with Moriarty.

Anyways. I’m still thrilled and cannot wait to see more from the famous detective and his blogger friend.

The game is on!

80’s kid, 90’s teen. That sums it up quite nicely. Fan of almost everything. There’s not enough room in cyber-space to list everything (or every guy / fictional character I have the hots for), but I’ll try: Outlander book series ultimate fan (‘cuz JAMMF is just perfection), YA and romance novel avid reader, BSB fan to the death. Current TV Shows addiction: Outlander, Game of Thrones, Arrow (I ship Olicity. Hard.), The Big Bang Theory, Marvel Agents of SHIELD. Past addictions: Friends, Glee, Spartacus, Smash, The Tudors, Battlestar Galactica, Lost (I’m an ending-hater). The Hot List: Luke Evans, Gerard Butler, Theo James, Nick Carter, Henry Cavill, Chris Hemsworth, Stephen Amell, Hugh Jackman and I could keep going to infinity. Oh! And I believe in the God of Google!
