We are almost a month away from the premiere of the Outlander series and still more cool stuff is surfacing. Outlander fans are incredible. They really are. I think the CIA or the FBI should seriously consider having some Outlander fans on their payroll. Nothing goes unnoticed for us. We manage to find everything. We gather every single piece of information available.
That’s how we got our greedy hands on the Australian trailer for Outlander. Good God! The Aussies are one lucky bunch! Their trailer is perfection!!!

First of all, Claire’s voice over. It’s just like in the books. Outlander (specially the first book) is told entirely from Claire’s perspective. We get to read her thoughts, her fears, her ideas, her interpretation of things. So the voice over is lovely! Besides, Caitriona’s voice is exactly how I imagined Claire’s voice in my mind while reading the books.
Another thing that I love about this trailer (and everything that Starz has put out, for that matter), is that everything is centered around Claire. Although we might love Jamie to death, although he is the King of Men and although Sam Heughan is hot as hell, Outlander is Claire’s story. Her journey. So I’m very glad that the people at Starz for respecting and honoring that.
This trailer is filled with iconic scenes from the book: the stones, the Gathering, when Claire fixes Jamie’s shoulder, when Jamie kisses Laoghaire (grrrr) and they are just perfect. exactly like I imagined them to be. I can’t wait for the series premiere!!!
